Pre Retreat Expectations

We are going to some work before we leave for our leadership retreat to make sure we are on the same page while we are together.  Here are some expectations:
1. Know the major terms and tools:  You should know these terms and how to use and identify them- vision frame, culture, mission, values/priorities, strategy, measures, 4141 tool, disciple pathway, harvest field, rule of life.
2.  Have an idea of a realistic and healthy rule of life.  We are going to build out our church "rule of life", so it would be good for all of us to think through what did Jesus expect us to do on a daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis?  What disciplines may cause a huge impact (like a surrender prayer, etc).  What do you currently do as a rule of life? Is it written down or codified? Does your family follow or know your rule of life?  The rule of life should be the basic expectations of a disciple at CPC.  (watch the pre retreat videos here: #Videos)
3. Have an idea of where you might be on your Harvest Field Journey.  Whether you are praying through it or actively cultivating fruit, know where you are in the process.
